WashCover is business insurance for the spray-and-shine trades — pressure washing, exterior cleaning, mobile detailing — quoted by a licensed agent. That's the whole pitch. Here's everything around it.
Why this exists
Picture Devon: 26, Georgia, just bought his first real rig and started taking paying jobs. His homeowners policy doesn't cover his business — he doesn't know that yet. He asked in a Facebook group whether he needs insurance to pressure wash driveways and got eleven conflicting answers.
Devon is one job away from learning the expensive way that a 4,000-PSI wand strips paint off siding — and that he's personally on the hook for it. The information available to him is forum hearsay and carrier marketing. WashCover exists to be the third option: a licensed agent who speaks the trade, answers straight, and quotes the actual work.
Niches beat generalists. A shop that says “pressure washing insurance” and means it will always out-serve an aggregator page.
Who quotes your policy
WashCover is a service of Patriot Independent Insurance Partners, an independent insurance agency. Every quote is worked by a licensed agent — a person, not a pricing engine — usually within one business day. That agent checks your classification, flags the exclusions that matter for your trade, and matches you to markets that actually write exterior-cleaning risks.
Quoting is licensed work, and it's the bottleneck on purpose: we'd rather quote 30 operations carefully than 300 sloppily. If the queue ever slips past the one-business-day target, we’ll say so honestly in our reply.
What we don't do
- No instant online bind. If you want a policy in ten minutes with no human involved, the carriers on our market page do that well. We're the slower, surer option.
- No coverage promises. The words “you're covered” don't appear on this site. Policy language controls, and your agent reviews your actual forms with you before you bind.
- We're not a carrier. We describe online carriers so you can compare them — we don't represent them, and nothing here is an endorsement.
- No 50-state claims. We write in nine states — TX, FL, GA, SC, AL, NC, MS, CA, CO — where our agency is licensed. License numbers are pending and will be listed when issued.
- No spam, no robocalls. You send a work order, a human replies. That's the entire marketing funnel.
